Experience

I believe to be a good tutor you must be like a student's educational tour guide. You have to have an excellent command of the subject matter and then be willing to help the student navigate the information. At times, you may even have to slow down the learning process to make certain the student has a strong understanding of the core material. I assess a student's strengths and weaknesses and then work with my students to build up their strengths in order to overcome their weaknesses. I have Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from Purdue University. I enjoy tutoring many different subjects: Algebra 1-4, Calculus 1-3, Differential Equations, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, History, Computer Science, Competition Math, Multivariable Calculus, Finite Mathematics, Public Speaking, Social Studies, English, and Computer Science. I enjoy listening to music, going to the horse races, hockey, soccer, pop culture, and history.
