I am a tutor from League City, MO. I received my undergraduate degree in History from the University of California-Irvine. After graduation, I began pursuing my master's degree in Sports Management. I enjoyed the program, but my true calling was in education. I earned my Master of Education degree, and began a career teaching US History. I believe that a proper education is necessary in life, and I try to encourage learning by making the material relevant. I am most passionate about teaching US History, but I have also taught Economics, Government, Business, and English. I am also very proud of the work I have done to prepare my students for state exams and other standardized tests. I consistently promote the importance of education to my students. It leads to increased confidence, self esteem, and an overall better quality of life. I am a lifelong learner myself, and I use my positive attitude towards learning to help motivate and encourage other young minds. When I am not teaching, I am reading, watching sports, or walking my dog.
